New Netflix Comedy Series ‘Space Force’ Is the Comic Relief We Need
Netflix is launching a new comedy series into our living rooms with comedic geniuses Steve Carell, Lisa Kudrow, Fred Ward, and more.
Steve Carell has partnered with co-creator of The Office Greg Daniels for a new comedy series coming to Netflix May 29. Space Force begins with General Mark Naird receiving orders from the President to “put boots on the moon,” serving as leader of the sixth and newest branch of the United States Armed Forces. The series will also star Lisa Kudrow in the role of the first lady of the newest force created by the President.

Carell and Daniels are bringing back the at-the-office comedic vibes, making the new binge-worthy series a highly anticipated show. Netflix released the first trailer of its newest original series on May 5 and it has over 5 million views on YouTube. The first season will air 10 episodes with a runtime of 30 minutes each. Team Space Force consists of a group of quaint scientists played by John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreations), Jimmy O. Yang (Crazy Rich Asians), and Diana Silvers (Ma).
