Keep an Eye out for Legally Blonde 3

Stay tuned for the return of everyone’s favorite courtroom blonde, Elle Woods.

It’s official: Legally Blonde 3 is in the works.

The third installment of the comedy franchise was confirmed by lead actress Reese Witherspoon back in June 2018 and she will be returning to reprise her role as Elle Woods. Her studio Hello Sunshine and Lauren Neustadter, the studio’s head of television and film, will produce the movie.

And if one major star wasn’t enough, another popular celebrity is joining the project: Mindy Kaling, executive producer of the critically acclaimed Netflix comedy series Never Have I Ever. Kaling and Brooklyn Nine-Nine creator, Dan Goor, have signed on to write the film’s script.

The original release date of the highly anticipated film was set for Feb. 14, 2020. However, that day has come and gone with no sign of the film. A new release date has not yet been announced. Be sure to keep a lookout for news regarding the release of Legally Blonde 3.
