Mark Your Calendar the New ‘Paper Mario’ is Coming to Nintendo Switch This July

Nintendo’s beloved hero, Mario, returns for another video game adventure in Paper Mario: The Origami King.

Nintendo recently announced the release date for its newest installment of the Paper Mario series. Hitting stores on July 17, Paper Mario: The Origami King features an all-new adventure packed with fresh characters, exciting power-ups, and more of the delightful surprises only Mario can deliver. The plot of Paper Mario: The Origami King is a familiar one— Mario must once again rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of evil. This time, however, the once-flat paper princess has been folded into origami by King Olly, who will fold the whole kingdom unless Mario puts a stop to it. 

 During his journey, Mario gains a few unlikely allies. King Olly’s sister, Olivia, and the formerly villainous Bowser both join Mario’s efforts to rescue Princess Peach. The game also features unexpected battles and power-ups, including an arm-extending 1,000-Fold Arms ability that allows the player to interact with the landscape of the game.
