It’s thyme to ketchup on what you’ve missed and tune into this iconic, refreshingly off-beet quarantine cooking show.

Is your pantry as bare as a nudist colony in Southern France? Are you ready to graduate from dry cereal and instant ramen? Do you like to laugh? If any of your answers were affirmative or you are merely tired of walking your dog and searching for a second hobby, you should watch Amy Schumer Learns to Cook on the Food Network.

Stand-up Sensation Amy Schumer and Culinary Wizard Chris Fischer have fused comedy with cuisine to create a casual cooking show from their home in Martha’s Vineyard. Their recipes are simple, stress-free, and easy to follow for those of us who are culinarily challenged.  You can find the recipes on the Food Network site: Potato latkas, mushroom pasta, and chicken wings with honey and soy sauce are some fan favorites.

During this time of heightened anxiety and uncertainty, it is more essential now than ever to stay busy and search for light, pleasurable pastimes. Comedy, cooking, and a content stomach is simply a winning combination.
