Graduates all across the nation had to finish an educational milestone in their homes instead of on a stage. Understanding how much that moment means a student, Teyana Taylor took it upon herself to release a song for all the 2020 graduates, called ‘Made It’.

In the snippet she posted on Instagram, we saw how creative Teyana got in her efforts to include 2020 graduates in her video. There’s a traditional set up of chairs as you would see at graduation, but instead of people there were tablets. On each tablet there was a graduate who got to show off their cap and gown as well as their best dance moves in Teyana’s video.

The visuals were amazing and she had just the right lyrics to encourage the new graduates. Baby girl you made it/you made it and Self-love is the best love. Her kind gesture touched the hearts of many and a lot of fans went to Twitter to express their gratitude to Teyana.

What we didn’t get to see in the snippet from Instagram, was the zoom call she had with some of the graduates included in the video. How awesome? She congratulated them and expressed that she never got the chance to graduate so she wanted to celebrate and share that moment with her fans.

Congratulations to all of the 2020 graduates. As Teyana said, you made it. Put on your cap and gown and strut your stuff. This one is for you.
