Dove Cameron Shares Her Simple, Yet Thorough, Day-To-Night Beauty Routine

Last Thursday May 21, the Emmy-award winning actress and singer Dove Cameron took to Vogue’s YouTube channel to demonstrate her “Ultimate Day-To-Night Beauty Routine” for their Beauty Secrets series.

 In the video, Dove walked us through her morning skin care routine, claiming that Vitamin E oil has changed her life, and after applying a generous amount to her face and neck, we can see that is where she gets her bright, dewy look. She not only rubs her products into her skin, but taps rigorously all over to “wake up her skin.”

Dove revealed that her makeup routine when shooting is much different, but that she also likes to do as much of her makeup for that as possible, even going as far to say that she felt that she did most of her own makeup for her films Descendants 2 and Descendants 3.

Her new favorite step in her makeup application is powder. She uses a subtle light pink shade over her concealer instead of a white or a translucent shade to help brighten up her face. It blends in naturally with the pink blush she applied lightly with her fingers to the apples of her cheeks.

With the addition of a few swipes of mascara and her signature baby cat eye, Dove’s look is glowing, and so simple. We already know that it’s going to inspire your everyday routine, too.
