SZA Teases a New Collection of Unreleased Songs
Our wishes may be granted with a new SZA album in the works.
It has been nearly three years since SZA released her Grammy-nominated debut album, Ctrl and fans have been constantly asking for a new album from the singer. While we are unsure when the follow-up project will come, the singer did announce that she might release a project of unreleased songs soon.
On Monday, SZA took to Twitter to ask her followers about the concept of dropping a bunch of unreleased tracks, calling this a “Music Dump.” This would consist of about 20 original songs that have been recorded over the last six years.
So like a music dump .. similar to a photo dump but not an album .. this concept make sense to anyone? Has anyone ever done it ? Asking for me 🤔

Now she did mention in the past that there could be a deluxe version of Ctrl and sadly that may not be happening. In one tweet she mentioned, “it was like a missed text and too much time passed and it didn’t matter anymore.”
never said the Deluxe was dead y’all asked what HAPPENED to it lmao I jus said I kept it pushing n never put it out by mistake

However, on a lighter note, since the release of Ctrl, SZA celebrated the album being on the Billboard 200 for 150 weeks.

Father if you don’t take me any further I honor the gifts you’ve given me thus far 🙏🏾❤️
For now we can enjoy all 14 tracks on Ctrl while patiently waiting for more updates on SZA’s new project.
