You Can Stream Sierra Mccormick’s New Movie on Amazon Prime Later This Week

Sierra McCormick stars in the sci-fi thriller, The Vast of Night, available for streaming on Amazon Prime May 29. 

McCormick stars as Fay, a switchboard operator in 1950s New Mexico, who along with radio DJ Everett (Jake Horowitz), is trying to determine where an unknown frequency is coming from. The film has a 91% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature in the 2019 Slamdance Film Festival.

While fans wait for the film to be released on Amazon Prime, Sierra McCormick is sharing her new two-hour-long Spotify playlist that has been helping her get through quarantine. The playlist is titled, “Everything Is Shitty But This Playlist Isn’t,” the playlist features Norman Salant, Patrick Cowley, The Prodigy, Soulwax, TR/ST, and more. “It doesn’t have any sort of theme or direction, much like my days in quarantine,” wrote McCormick on an Instagram post. “It’s just what I’ve been listening to as I try not to worry about the state of the world.”

McCormick has 17 playlists on Spotify under the handle @residenteccentric, including a six-hour “Dark & Gothic” playlist. McCormick shared her new playlist during an Instagram post celebrating World Goth Day, writing that she has “been goth at heart her whole life.”
