Bluesy Cat Clyde Releases New Acoustic Album ‘Good Bones’

Just in time for the season of singing ‘round a campfire is some soulful tunes to sway to.

Bluesy artist from Stratford, Ontario, Cat Clyde, has some fresh new songs to kick off the summer. An acoustic record will be up for grabs on June 19, 2020. She shares on her Instagram a hyped announcement of the album’s release displaying merchandise including a poetry book and box of matchsticks: “Hey everyone! Getting very excited for the release of my acoustic album ‘Good Bones’ coming out June 19!” reads the post’s caption.

Her signature up and down vocals can make anyone feel like true country-folk. “Velvety-smooth sounds for olde souls,” reads her Instagram bio. The singer released a taste of what can be expected of the new tracks on May 29, 2020, with an acoustic version of her song “All The Black.” The melody sweeps you away into a story of tragic nostalgic romance with her four-string guitar and infectious voice.


At age fourteen Clyde taught herself how to play guitar. She got her start after graduating from a music industry arts program in 2015 before having joined some bands in high school. She is truly a remarkable woman, inspiring to other artists around her.
