Ingrid Andress Breaks Records With Debut Country Album ‘Lady Like’

Warner Music Nashville

Ingrid Andress’ debut album Lady Like is the highest-streaming country female debut album of all time.

This country artist has already made her mark in the music industry. Andress released her album on March 27, 2020, and it quickly bloomed to the top of the charts and broke records. See the billboard posted in NYC for her new album below.

Born in Michigan and raised in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, she grew up surrounded by a sports family. Andress was a competitive soccer and volleyball player and ran track during her youth. However, music was always a passion of hers. When it came time to attend college, she chose to continue on the music path.

Andress graduated from the Berklee College of Music and made a lot of connections while there. She met Kara DioGuardi who helped guide her into the country music route. Andress had grown a liking for songwriting and, with the support from DioGuardi, she decided to move to Nashville to pursue a songwriting career. Some of her songs were recorded by artists like Bebe Rexha, Charli XCX, and Dove Cameron.

The sixth song on the album is titled “More Hearts Than Mine” and has become her first No. 1 song on country music radio. It is a GOLD-certified song that truly shows her songwriting talent and who she is as an artist. She is nominated for New Female Artist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will occur in the fall. See her GOLD-certified record below.

She was named on Billboard’s Grammy nominee watch list for Best New Artist. So, stay tuned for more news on Ingrid Andress. We are rooting for her.
