There isn’t much info yet on this page but I love this idea and hope it goes viral. Be an ally, be part of the solution, our silence makes us complicit. #irunwithmaud #georgefloyd #breonnataylor #christiancooper (and countless others) #hangyourheartproject #Repost @thehangyourheartproject ・・・ The “Hang Your Heart” Project is an awareness movement to open your doors to marginalized groups. Hang a Green Heart in your window – so that if a person of color is walking down the road and they feel unsafe – they know your home is a safe place for them. Share your hearts with #HangYourHeartProject . Stand up for social injustice. . . . . . . . . . #blacklivesmatter #icantbreathe #socialinjustice

Anna Paquin took to Instagram to share the #HangYourHeartProject, a new movement dedicated to raising awareness around racial injustice. The green hearts hung on either windows or doors signify a place of safeguard for anyone who may feel threatened or frightened. The movement was introduced by blog Stories of a Mediocre Mom, written by Amanda Marcotte, and has been gaining followers and supporters since it’s launch. Join the movement and print the green heart located on Marcotte’s blog.

Charlie Puth, among a list of so many celebrities and influencers, shared a link to his Twitter to support the family of peaceful activist George Floyd. You can support #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd by signing a petition to hold those involved in the tragic killing of Floyd fully accountable for their actions. You can visit www.justiceforbigfloyd.com for more information on George Floyd and how we can help support the change the nation is advocating for.
