Jordin Sparks Releases Her First Solo Music in Almost Five Years

“It is about the unknown, and one of the lines actually says ‘I can’t do this alone,’” said Sparks in a video posted to her Instagram. “I know there are so many people across the nation and also across the globe that are helping us at these crazy times right now.”
Sparks has been asking Instagram followers to send sweet messages to frontline workers, essential workers, or anyone who has been uplifting during this difficult time.
Recently Sparks sang in a cover of Coldplay’s ‘Fix You’ alongside Edo Ferragamo, Alex Aiono, Brothers Page, and more. The collaboration was in support of Red Cross COVID-19 relief, dedicated to those on the frontlines.
Sparks has also been supporting other charities, including the National Alliance on Mental Illness. She was one of the hosts of the Stronger Than You Think livestream event this past week, which included conversations with celebrities, musical performances, and advice from mental health experts. The goal of the event was to open conversations about mental health affecting teens during COVID-19.
