Naomi Campbell and Pat McGrath Announce Dynamic Makeup Duo

Naomi Campbell and Pat McGrath’s long-time friendship has reached another iconic milestone as Naomi becomes the first-ever global face of McGrath’s makeup brand.

The makeup legend has been working in the industry for over 25 years but only launched her brand, Pat McGrath Labs, in 2015. Needless to say, it was an immediate success and has already achieved high status, leading the campaign for more racially diverse beauty brands. Her collaboration with Naomi is an important milestone for the company as the supermodel becomes its first-ever global face.

Naomi’s debut for McGrath coincides with the launch of the Mothership and Divine Rose Eye Palettes, part of the Divine Rose collection which boasts rosy mattes and iridescent pigments for the eyes and lips. In one of the latest promotional Instagram videos, Campbell radiates regal beauty as she wears a gold crown complemented by smoky rose-gold lids and shimmery mauve lips.

Talking with Vogue, Naomi stressed the importance of this collaboration, saying she believes in the makeup mogul “as a friend and as chosen family, but I also want to see her do well for the industry overall. I want to see a person of color at the top”. She adds that when she first met McGrath, she was “so happy to work with a makeup artist of color because there weren’t many at the time”.
