Seth Rogen has a knack for making us laugh, but recent events have been no laughing matter.

Though Rogen has never shied away from sharing his concerns over equal rights, the comedian came under fire on Monday when he posted the Black Lives Matter logo on his Instagram account. With the logo, Rogen commented, “If this is a remotely controversial statement to you, feel free to unfollow me.”

Though Rogen’s statement was direct and simple, it attracted a great deal of negativity from conservative “All Lives Matter” supporters. Rogen thoroughly responded to the haters’ negativity, stating, “You don’t deserve my movies. Stop watching my s***.”

While some have criticized Rogen’s harsh and profane method of clapping back at haters, nobody can deny his steadfast support of Black Lives Matter. According to Entertainment Weekly, he recently “matched the Safdie brothers’ donation ‘and then much more’ to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which helps bail out protestors.”

Rogen is not the only celebrity who has made a significant contribution to the Minnesota Freedom Fund. Other famous doners vary from indie-folk band Bright Eyes to Don Cheadle and Steve Carrell.

Although the Minnesota Freedom Fund has paused donations as of June 2, you can contribute money or your signature to Black Lives Matter.  Your support for the cause is crucial.
