Amara La Negra Uses her Platform for Justice

Singer and Love and Hip Hop star Amara La Negra is using her platform to address the Black Lives Matter movement and is advocating for justice in regard to George Floyd.

On the show Love and Hip Hop, La Negra has always talked about the discrimination she faced as an Afro Latina. La Negra expressed how she never felt accepted growing up, discussing her own personal experience with racism.

After the death of George Floyd, La Negra took to Instagram to voice her opinion on the injustices of the Black community in America. After trying to find the words to express her disheartening feelings, La Negra went live on the platform to have a deeper conversation on the issue.

Following the Instagram live, La Negra has not stopped using her platform for justice. She has attended multiple peaceful protests and posted multiple photos and links, providing her followers with vital information.
