See How Rapper Russ Is Fighting for Black Lives Matter
Rapper and singer Russ is using his platform to raise money for the Black Lives Matter movement in a very unique way.
If you are not familiar with the “What They Want” singer, just know that he is no stranger to voicing his thoughts about what is happening in the music community. With over two million followers on Twitter, Russ is using his platform to speak out on the racial injustice happening in the United States.
Back in September 2017, the rapper posted a picture wearing a black T-shirt with words “IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM SPEAK UP WHITE SILENCE IS PRO RACISM.” The shirt was created by Russ and Instagram designer KidSuper and fans were begging for their own shirt. Just a few years later, the shirt is back in demand regarding the current political state. Recently, the two decided to sell the shirts for Black Lives Matter, and donate the proceeds as well.
