Jennifer Lopez Posts a Powerful Message and Resources in Support of the Black Lives Matter Movement
Jennifer Lopez took to social media to spread different ways to support the Black Lives Matter movement and combat injustice in the world.
Lopez urges us to learn and understand racism in the United States so that we may better understand how to more effectively support the BLM movement. She wrote on her Twitter that we can’t be unsure of “how to respond,” “what to read,” and “what to do” anymore when “racism is still taking lives.” We have to “listen,” “research,” and “donate” to help show our support for those affected by racism. See the full tweet below.
If you’re not sure how to respond, LISTEN. If you’re not sure what to read, RESEARCH. If you’re not sure what to do, DONATE. “Not sure” becomes “Not my problem”… It’s not enough to be “Not sure” when racism is still taking lives.🖤->

Hi! I am Hannah Forton pursuing a double major in Communications and Music Industry. I love traveling, sports, cooking, music, Broadway, movies, DIY, make-up, clothes, and tutorials. Some of my favorite work experiences includes an internship at a recording studio and working at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Helping and educating others is important to me, and I’ve enjoyed being able to do so through volunteering for numerous non-profits since middle school. I like the big city vibes, but small towns will always hold a special place in my heart. Living near Detroit allows me to achieve the best of both worlds.
