Corbin Bleu Stands with Breonna Taylor and Shows Support for Black Lives Matter
Actor, dancer, and singer Corbin Bleu stands with Breonna Taylor and shows his support for Black Lives Matter on his social media.
Corbin Bleu posted a picture on his social media accounts to celebrate what would have been Breonna Taylor’s 27th birthday on June 6, 2020. Like many people, he wants justice and advises us to “sign this petition,” “make a call,” and “demand justice” for her and her family. He is using his platform to bring light to a woman who has not received proper justice in this world and we are here for it.
His post below includes the link to the petition and he encourages anyone to sign it to help bring justice to Taylor and her family.
Today would have been her 27th birthday. Please take a moment to sign this petition or make a call to help demand justice for Breonna and her family 🙏🏽 https://t.co/zcXQXOYCvB pic.twitter.com/QeGaG1KqTj

Due to all of the protests occurring throughout the world, some businesses are opening their lobby to protestors if they need water, snacks, or a restroom break. Arena Stage, a theatre company based in Washington D.C. that is an ally of Bleu, became a part of the #openyourlobby movement on June 7 to help support protestors throughout the day.
Bleu showed his appreciation for the company in his tweet, thanking them as well as other theatres for doing their part in joining the movement.
I love you @arenastage Thank you for always being an ally. ✊🏽 & to all the theatres joining the #openyourlobby movement ❤️ https://t.co/yCZHDJFmNk

This is a fight for justice. We have to all come together in unity to assist one another during this time and help seek justice for the affected families. We deeply appreciate Corbin Bleu and all of the other celebrities who are showing their support for change.
Hi! I am Hannah Forton pursuing a double major in Communications and Music Industry. I love traveling, sports, cooking, music, Broadway, movies, DIY, make-up, clothes, and tutorials. Some of my favorite work experiences includes an internship at a recording studio and working at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Helping and educating others is important to me, and I’ve enjoyed being able to do so through volunteering for numerous non-profits since middle school. I like the big city vibes, but small towns will always hold a special place in my heart. Living near Detroit allows me to achieve the best of both worlds.
