Meet Symone D. Sanders, the Female Powerhouse Behind Joe Biden’s Campaign
Get to know Symone D Sanders, the activist, spokesperson, author and strategist running with Joe Biden.
You may not know her, but she might be the future of the Black female leaders. In 2016, Symone became the youngest press secretary for the U.S senator Bernie Sanders. After that, the magazine Rolling Stones named her in the list of the 16 young Americans shaping the 2016 election.
Symone is also a social activist, in May she published her first book called No, You Shut Up, where she talks about “a take-no-prisoners approach to life, politics, and career success, and show a new generation how to be loud and powerful in their own right.”
Symone has the passion, and fierceness this generation needs, in a statement she made she said, “I am optimistic, and maybe it’s because I’m one of those millennials that feels like we can change the world because I absolutely believe that we can.“
Today, the young lady is running as a senior advisor for Joe Biben’s campaign. Sanders strongly supports and defends his idea of systemic racism.
.@JoeBiden : We must urgently root out systemic racism, from policing to housing to opportunity https://t.co/a2lXWq0Jkb
