Misses Brie Swimwear

Are you looking for a good cause to support and a new bikini? Look no further!

Tis’ the sea-son for yellow polka-dot bikinis.

As social distancing regulations relax and we gradually re-enter society, many of us are swapping our quarantine sweatpants for a more elevated, trendy look. We are eager to emerge from our homes looking fierce – and are also eager to reach for our wallets and support ethical brands that champion Black Lives Matter and other social justice initiatives.

For any of my brothers and sisters, but specifically my SISTAHS, here are some books I own and a few I’m purchasing to help bring peace into my heart this year. . At least until I find one HELL OF A THERAPIST. Because chillleeee 2020 has knocked the cap off the thermometer. . Black women, we have been the world’s mamma, the helper, the dirt, the cleaner-upper, the restorer, the scapegoat, the fighter, the lover, the excluded, the deemed unworthy, the least protected, for sooo many years. . It’s time for us to get the healing, nurturing, and love we deserve. . I pray for our sanity and healing today. . Check out these books 📚 #KnowledgeIsPower #Research #EducateInsteadOfHate #BlackHealing #BlackWomenHealing #ProtectOurBabies

BLACK OWNED AF. INCLUSIVE AF. LOVING AF. @missesbrie . Stop begging those brands to show they’re 10 toes down, come on over sis. . This genuine pro Black & inclusive brand has been waiting for you with arms wide open. 🥰💕💕💕 . Tip for my fellow big chest gals that want to wear these type of strapless-swim-tops, flip the top upside down, then turn it into a halter with the string.😌 (size down if it doesn’t have front lace up detail.) . Wearing the XXL, 5’7 & a size 18US at the moment. Sizes for these selects, range from XS-XXL. . Today is the last day where I’ll be donating 50% of profits to organizations aiding protestors! Run it up y’all ❤️❤️❤️ #SupportBlackBusinesses #PlusSizeSwimwear

This company has been donating half of its sale proceeds to Black Lives Matter organizations dedicated to aiding peaceful protestors by providing personal protective equipment and bailouts.  In addition to supporting the racial equity campaign, this trendy swimwear and clothing brand is also donating 10% of its monthly revenues to organizations that empower women, youth, and animals.

In addition to promoting Black Lives Matter, Misses Brie swimwear champions feminism and speaks out against sexual assault.

They didn’t protect you so we gon’ SCREAM your name! This hit home in so many ways. When are Black Women going to be protected? When are we going to be taken seriously? Toyin deserved protection, safety, and to be heard LOUD AND CLEAR! I’ve read up on an increased amount of Black women being sexually assaulted and murdered in the US and abroad within the past 2 weeks! This MUST STOP. Accountability needs to be taken. Stop protecting rapist. Arrest and convict rapist. Protect women from rapist and predators. Make us feel human, cared for, and valued when we speak out against rape. #JusticeForToyin and to everyone else that has lost their life and sanity to sexual VIOLENCE. 💔💔💔😪
