Musicians like Adam Lambert, Katy Perry, Sia, and Billy Porter will perform in a virtual relief benefit to help LGBTQ+ communities impacted by COVID-19.

Although we’re halfway through Pride month, this year, celebrations have been a little different. Due to the risk of spreading COVID-19, cities around the world have canceled or altered their usual Pride celebrations. New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco have replaced parades and live concerts with virtual alternatives.

Despite the challenges 2020 has brought, iHeartRadio wants to emphasize that no matter what, you “Can’t Cancel Pride.” On June 25, the broadcast network will host a virtual event featuring star-studded performances and lots of LGBTQ+ joy.

The event will also support Pride’s purpose as a movement for social progress by donating proceeds to LBGTQ+ communities in need. Since the onset of COVID-19, LGBTQ+ communities have faced significant challenges, including more profound barriers to healthcare and increased rates of domestic violence.

To help combat these hardships, ‘Can’t Cancel Pride’ has teamed up with The Greater Cincinnati Foundation to raise funds for many LGBTQ+ organizations, including SAGE, The Trevor Project, and the National Black Justice Coalition.

Laverne Cox and Elvis Duran will host the event. Other celebrity guests and performers in the line up include Big Freedia, Melissa Ethridge, Ricky Martin, and Kim Petras.

If you want to celebrate Pride, support struggling communities during COVID-19, and watch a few epic performances, be sure to tune in via iHeartRadio at 9 p.m. on June 25. For more information about how to stream the event, visit cantcancelpride.com
