You Have to Listen to Tyla Yaweh’s New Song ‘Tommy Lee’ Featuring Post Malone
On June 12th, Tyla Yaweh and Post Malone released their first song together, “Tommy Lee,” in honor of Tommy Lee, the 1980s legendary drummer from the heavy metal band, Mötley Crüe.
Yaweh and Malone are close friends off-camera, and the iconic duo’s new song embodies the sex, drugs, and rock & roll lifestyle Tommy Lee famously led.
“Tommy Lee” serves as a reminder to not to take life too seriously and instead live each day to its fullest potential. The song urges us to keep our heads up and hope for the best. Yaweh raps, “I’m livin’ my life, celebration / I’m thankin’ the Lord, I got patience.”
Malone sings, “I’m pretty as f**k, wanna copy me,” and he continues, “I love when my lawyer calls, I hate when I run out of smoke / Pull up to the party, oh, and we like to party, oh.”
You have to listen to Tyla Yaweh and Post Malone’s new release because it is almost guaranteed to brighten your day. Also, stay tuned to hear the real Tommy Lee play the drums in an upcoming remix of, “Tommy Lee.”
