Brown offered more insight into the film, saying, “What you’re watching is a young girl trying to find herself in hectic chaos that she doesn’t really know how to handle, but that’s just kind of life in general for a teenage girl.”
Previously, Brown gained worldwide recognition by starring in the 80s nostalgic themed Netflix TV series Stranger Things. She received widespread critical acclaim by playing the iconic role of Eleven, a girl with super psychokinetic abilities.
Enola Holmes will also star many popular actors such as Sam Claflin, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter.
Enola Holmes will be aired on Netflix this September, and it won’t be surprising to see this film become another solid hit for Brown.
