21 Savage Launches Free Online Financial Program for Youth
Rapper 21 Savage is making financial literacy available for children and their families this summer.
The “Bank Account” rapper announced his new #BankAccount at-home program nationwide on Wednesday with Chime. The free program will provide tools and tips on ways to save and make money. The rapper believes its important to empower our youth for better futures – and we couldn’t agree more.
Chime is an American bank company that provides free financial services through its app without charging overdraft or maintenance fees. The partnership with Chime comes after the rapper launched his Leading by Example Bank Account Program in 2018 to teach financial literacy to students across the U.S.
He is also partnering with Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to provide free WiFi and tablets to students in the city. Chime announced that they will also launch new financial literacy tools and scholarship opportunities in August.
Congratulations to 21 Savage for this amazing program and for continuing to inspire others! We admire celebrities that use their platform and connections to provide services for underprivileged groups. Check out the #BankAccount at-home program on the chime website.
