From ‘The Lion King’ to Jordan Peele’s ‘Us’ Actress Shahadi Wright Joseph Is Proving Age Is Just a Number
Actress, Shahadi Wright Joseph, is the next young upcoming actress that we should support.
Joseph first had her breakout in the entertainment business when she landed the role of Nala in The Lion King on broadway. She may also seem familiar to other broadway enthusiasts for her role as Maddison in School of Rock. The actress then switched from stage work to TV and landed the role of Little Inez Stubbs in Hairspray Live!
2019 was a big year for Joseph. She starred in the horror film US, the Jordan Peele movie everyone was buzzing about playing Zora and her sinister doppelgänger Umbrae. Then returned back to her roots as the voice of Young Nala in the live-action remake of The Lion King.
At just 15 years old, Joseph has done it all and she is also taking a shot at the music industry. Joseph released her first-ever single “Wallpaper.”
When the actress isn’t busy, she is rocking out to Hamilton with friends.
