Lucy Hale Is Co-Hosting a Music and Mindfulness Livestream with Jay Shetty to Raise Money for Mental Health Support
Actress Lucy Hale and author Jay Shetty are co-hosting a livestream event on Wednesday through the Alive and Well Foundation to raise awareness and money for mental health.
The event will be live-streamed on www.aliveandwellfoundation.org July 8 at 5 p.m. PST and includes special performances by rock bands ‘Portugal. The Man’ and ‘The Moth & The Flame,’ rapper Bryce Vine, singer Maty Noyes, and much more. In addition to the music performances, there will be a yoga session by actress Francia Raisa and global guided meditation led by Jay Shetty.
“So grateful that I was able to join the @bealiveandwell foundation and @jayshetty to host an evening of music and mindfulness all in an effort to raise awareness and money for mental health,” wrote Hale on a recent Instagram post.
The Alive and Well Foundation is an Atlanta-based charity that strives to make mental healthcare a human right. The organization fights to give everyone mental healthcare, regardless of their ability to pay. The Alive and Well Foundation raises funds to train and certify psychotherapists in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, working to create a system where those in need of care can easily access support.
