Demi Lovato Is ‘Feeling Grateful for Every Day on Earth’ After Her Recovery

After singer Demi Lovato struggled with substance abuse in 2018, she expressed a new outlook on life.
On Tuesday, June 30, Demi took to Instagram proclaiming she is “grateful for every day I have on this earth.” She believes that quarantine has been “a time to reflect, to heal, to grow to educate, and to spread love.”
During an interview with Bustle, she opened up about the lessons she learned about herself and those around her during the pandemic.
“I started doing all this work, allowing myself to feel the pains of all the losses that I’ve had or the adversities or traumas that I’ve faced. I think my ability to be vulnerable and be more intimate with people has really heightened,” Demi said.
She also included that she created deeper connections with the people in her life, especially her boyfriend, Max Ehrich.
“I can be totally vulnerable, transparent, and honest. And if I’m having a panic attack in the middle of a photo shoot or something that I can sit in the dressing room with whomever is there, and they can help me with it,” said Demi in her interview with Bustle.
Demi noted that after her quarantine experience, she came out a better person because she had time for herself.
Not only has Demi been speaking up about her mental health, but she has also been actively posting about racial injustices.
On Tuesday, July 8, Demi shared a selfie-and attached a statement encouraging her followers to take action.
Thank you for this! I worked 15 hours at the voting polls. We had a lot of first time voters. Your message will give us more
