Dua Lipa released the premiere date of the music video for “Hallucinate” from her latest album, Future Nostalgia.

Three months have passed since Dua Lipa dazzled fans with the album and music video to “Break My Heart.” Lipa’s release of the newest music video comes amid self-isolating in her home to battle the global pandemic. She announced the highly anticipated world premiere of the music video to “Hallucinate” on her Twitter and Instagram platforms.

Since the drop of Future Nostalgia first debuted in March 2020, the album has reached top 5 in music charts in over 12 countries, including the United States, Ireland, Germany, U.K., and Australia. Just as the name of the album suggests, the songs have been reminiscent of pop sensation vibes shaped by Kylie Minogue, Prince, Madonna, and Gwen Stefani, creating 49 minutes of delightful dance tunes. “They are definitely interesting, nostalgic feelings. I ended up listening to Prince, Outkast, old Gwen Stefani and No Doubt. It sounds like such a crazy clash of styles, but that’s just how I like to do things,” Lipa tells British Vogue on the influences of her the album.
Since her breakthrough song, “New Rules,” debuted in 2017, Lipa continues to deliver exceptional music and live performances. She has received two Grammy Awards (Best New Artist, Best Dance Recording for “Electricity”) in addition to nominations from the American Music Awards, BBC Awards, Billboard Music Awards and many more.
