Jacob Latimore, Trevor Jackson, and Rotimi Create ‘Real Love, Pt. 2’ Music Video
Artist Jacob Latimore collaborated with Trevor Jackson and Rotimi to produce a new follow up music video to Latimore’s song “Real Love” from his latest album C3.
Jacob Latimore, musician and current star of Showtime’s The Chi, created “Real Love, Pt. 2” on July 9 while quarantining in his home. He was joined by Trevor Jackson, known for his role as Aaron Jackson in the sitcom series Grown-ish. Singer and actor Rotimi, who plays Darius Morrison on the Starz series Boss, also starred in the quarantine-made music video.

Latimore began his rap and R&B music career in 2010 when he was just 13 years old. His most recent album, C3, is the third installment in his Connection album series.
Viewers will notice that “Real Love, Pt 2.” includes more than the artists themselves— the video also features Latimore’s girlfriend and actress Serayah, who stars in the show Empire. Rotimi’s girlfriend, Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee, also appears in the video. Serayah and Mdee show off the chemistry they have with their partners, who serenade them throughout the music video.
The video highlights the real romance and connection Latimore and Rotimi feel for their partners. The homey setting also adds authenticity to the video and contributes to the on-screen affection between the couples. In social media comments, fans have praised the video for celebrating black love.
