Nick Cannon Joins Celeb Chefs for ‘Harlem Serves Up!’ TV Fundraiser
Nick Cannon and a host of celebrity chefs and musicians team up for “Harlem Serves Up!,” a TV special dedicated to supporting Harlem’s BIPOC restaurants.
For the past five years, the nonprofit organization “Harlem EatUp!” has held an annual food festival to support Harlem businesses and restaurants. This year, however, the event was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of an in-person gathering, the organization will now host a one-hour TV fundraiser featuring special guest Nick Cannon.

Like the original festivals, the goal of the TV fundraiser is to showcase Harlem’s talent and prompt donations to help fight food insecurity and support struggling businesses. The show will include celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, musical performances, and stories from some of Harlem’s best restaurants.

Daniel Boulard, Mashama Bailey, and José Andrés are just a few of the guest chefs lined up for the event. “Harlem Serves Up!” will also feature musical performances from Common, Trey Songz, and many others.
Reporter and talk show host Tamron Hall will host the TV special while Nick Cannon takes to the streets of Harlem. Other guest appearances include former president Bill Clinton and former NY Giants defensive end, Justin Tuck.
All proceeds from the event will go to NYC nonprofits, including Citymeals, World Central Kitchen, Harlem Park to Park, and Uptown Grand Central.
The special airs this Saturday, July 18th at 7 PM ET on ABC7 NY, so be sure to tune in and catch Nick Cannon and other celebrities as they shine a spotlight on this community. To donate, visit HarlemServesUp.com.
