Demi Lovato rewatches hit movie Camp Rock and jokes with her followers about how “awkward” she was.
Over the weekend, singer and actress, Demi Lovato, rewatched Camp Rock and shared her commentary with her fans and followers. Taking to her Instagram stories, Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock, was caught laughing in the background of a video she posted of her and Alyson Stoner.
Lovato claims she sees her younger-self as Madison De La Garza, her little half-sister. “It’s crazy when I watch this now I see @maddelagarza,” Lovato wrote.

Throughout her time rewatching the Disney hit movie, Lovato took note of all her embarrassing and uncomfortable moments. “The amount of awkward f—ing things I did in this movie…I can’t,” she said. Posting a scene of her and co-star Joe Jonas, she wrote, “I told y’all – how awkward am I?!!!”
Lovato also shared a video of her and Stoner singing “Our Time Is Here” and admitted to her fans, “This sh— still slaps not gonna lie…” Of course fans, loving her hilarious reaction, took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Lovato, now 27, was just 16 years old while playing the role of Mitchie Torres. Camp Rock premiered on Disney Channel back in 2008, when Lovato and her co-stars were all still kids. Two years later, the stars celebs came back together for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
During an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, the Give Your Heart a Break singer announced, “We want to come out with an R-Rated Camp Rock 3. “I mean, all of our fans have now grown up and so anybody that watched Camp Rock is now older and can appreciate it.”
Until that day, fans that grew up with Lovato, the Jonas Brothers, and other 2000’s stars will have to get their daily dose of Disney by binging constant reruns of their favorite hits.
