Listen to Jhené Aiko’s Deluxe Version of ‘Chilombo’
The wait is finally over for Jhené Aiko fans, as the deluxe version of Chilombo is here.
After much anticipation, Jhené Aiko dropped the deluxe version of her third studio album Chilombo.
Aiko dropped the original form of Chilombo back in March, and the album debuted at number one on The Billboard R&B album charts and number two on the Billboard 200. The album contained singles such as “Happiness Over Everything (H.O.E)” and “BS.” The singer had teased fans for a few weeks announcing that she could drop the deluxe album at the end of May. However, fans were left waiting and eager to get their hands on the new album.
The singer finally announced on July 15, the release of Chilombo deluxe, and the new features were worth the wait. With nine new tracks, the album has features from artists like Kehlani, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, and her sister, R&B singer Mila J.
The new album continues to follow self-discovery along with the healing powers music. The leading single “Summer 2020” is a dedication to her late brother, whose birthday was on July 7.

Just a few hours after the album was released, Aiko became a trending topic on Twitter. Fans cannot get enough of the new songs, especially the remix of her song “BS” with Kehlani.

Aiko explained to Twitter about the title of the song after a fan asked her the inspiration behind the title. “Melancholy always reminds me of him.”
