Stay tuned for the popular country singer’s holiday album debut.

Christmas is coming three months early this year.

Even though we’re still in July, it’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit. For those of you already carefully curating your Christmas music playlists, be sure to add Carrie Underwood’s first-ever Christmas album, My Gift, to the list.

On Monday, the singer took to Instagram to share the album trailer in which she revealed how important it was to her to spread some cheer during these uncertain times: “This year, it was just kind of on my heart to do this Christmas album. I just felt like this was such a fitting time, kind of feel like it’s a more perfect time than ever to record an album like this.”

Of coming up with the name, Underwood admitted it’s “really hard naming a Christmas album.” She further explained, “I love music. I love singing. That is my personal gift that I have that I get to do, that I’m so blessed to do and I want to use that gift and I want to give it back to Jesus. That’s kind of why I landed on My Gift as an album title.”

The album is set to drop on September 25 and fans couldn’t be more excited.

Although Underwood has previously recorded several Christmas songs, the Greg Wells produced and arranged My Gift marks the singer’s first full-length holiday project. The full tracklist, songwriters, and special guests will be revealed at a later date.

We’re so excited for Carrie Underwood, and we can’t wait to listen to the album.
