Get Excited About the Sequel to ‘After’ With This Never-Before-Seen Clip
After months of little to no content surrounding the sequel to the After movie, a new clip dropped and fans all across the globe are more than thankful.
After We Collided, the highly anticipated sequel to 2019’s After, was scheduled for release sometime this past spring.
Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic, post-production was cut short and not even a trailer was able to be officially released.
Luckily, the After team was able to bring fans’ spirits up a bit with a brand new, previously unreleased scene from the upcoming movie.

First impressions are important. #afterwecollidedmovie @dylansprouse @josephinelangford @candiceking
In the scene, Tessa (played by Josephine Langford) meets Trevor (played by Dylan Sprouse) for the very first time in a bit of an embarrassing fashion.
Tessa is running late to her first day of work, calls Trevor a not so nice name when he doesn’t explicitly hold the elevator door open for her, and then finds out that Trevor is part of the company she’s about to start working for.
Tessa explains wearily to Trevor, “It’s my first day. “I’m just trying to make an impression;” a phrase that comes back to haunt her later in the clip.

The scene is awkward, funny, and very realistic because while first impressions are important, you can’t always depend on them being accurate.
After, based on the best selling book series, followed the tumultuous relationship between Tessa, a college freshman, and bad boy senior Hardin.
If anything like the books and the teaser from Valentine’s Day, the sequel will pick up right where the first movie left off.
Trevor is only being introduced to fans in After We Collided, as the movie is set partially outside of a college campus.
Fans can’t wait to see more of Sprouse’s portrayal of Trevor, the newcomer that just may come between Tessa and Hardin.
“I can’t wait for you guys to see Dylan Sprouse as Trevor. Trust me when I say he’s the best Trevor ever,” Anna Todd, author of the After series, wrote on Instagram.
I’m just in shock at how perfect @CandiceAccola is for her role as Kim and @dylansprouse for his role as Trevor. when I read the books I imagined ‘em just like that! how lucky r we to have such a perfect cast? and thank you @rogerkumble for directing these films in the best way. pic.twitter.com/aqvJsEWCmv
