The Motherland: Fort Salem Comic-Con panel will be streaming on YouTube, Sunday July 26, at 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST.
The panel includes stars Taylor Hickson, Ashley Nicole Williams, Jessica Sutton, Amalia Holm, Demetria McKinney, Lyne Renne, and creator of the TV series, Eliot Laurence. Freeform announced in May that there will be a Motherland: Fort Salem season 2. You can stream season one of this supernatural drama on Hulu. The series follows the story of three witches enlisted in the U.S. army who train in combat magic. It is set in a women-dominated world where the Salem Accord ended the persecution of witches 300 years ago during the Salem witch trials. “These people, this show, this character has been a great revolution of my heart,” wrote Sutton, who plays Tally Craven on Motherland: Fort Salem, in a recent Instagram post. “[The series] was made with great love and given to the world to hopefully say; despite all the pain we cause each other, can we find a way back to love… please?”
Comic-Con released a humorous video in May toting the upsides of it being virtual this year, including free parking, personalized snacks, no lines, and more. Learn more about Motherland: Fort Salem’s panel at Comic-Con@Home here.
