Apple TV+’s ‘Central Park’ Adds Emmy Raver-Lampman to the Cast as Molly
Actress Emmy Raver-Lampman has been added to the cast, replacing Kristen Bell’s character in the animated series Central Park on Apple TV+.
About a month ago, Kristen Bell walked away from voicing the biracial character Molly Tillerman on Central Park after the first season. She is happy to turn over her role to another actress who can give the show a more accurate portrayal of the character. Raver-Lampman will now play Molly in the second season of the show and the creators are very excited about this change.
You can read Bell’s Instagram post below, where she writes a beautiful message to welcome Raver-Lampman to the cast.
Raver-Lampman’s resume includes playing Allison Hargreeves on the series The Umbrella Academy, Rebecca in A Million Little Things, and Lily Lofton in Jane the Virgin. She also has a talent for musical theatre, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College in New York. Raver-Lampman has had the opportunity to be a part of the original ensemble cast of Hamilton on Broadway in 2015 and land the starring role of Angelica Schuyler in the first national tour of Hamilton in 2017.
The Virginia native is thrilled to be playing the role of Molly. “Representation is vital and broadens our ability to tell stories…I only hope that my lived experience will enrich Molly’s story and make her even more lovable than she already is,” Raver-Lampman wrote on her Instagram. Many fans are patiently waiting for the release of season two of Central Park. With the official release date having yet to be announced, you can enjoy season 1 of Central Park on Apple TV+ now.
Hi! I am Hannah Forton pursuing a double major in Communications and Music Industry. I love traveling, sports, cooking, music, Broadway, movies, DIY, make-up, clothes, and tutorials. Some of my favorite work experiences includes an internship at a recording studio and working at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Helping and educating others is important to me, and I’ve enjoyed being able to do so through volunteering for numerous non-profits since middle school. I like the big city vibes, but small towns will always hold a special place in my heart. Living near Detroit allows me to achieve the best of both worlds.
