Lollapalooza released its official event schedule this Wednesday, announcing performances from H.E.R., Alabama Shakes, Imagine Dragons, and more.

This year’s Lollapalooza festival will be an event as unique as 2020 itself. Although the original in-person event was canceled due to COVID-19, for the first time, viewers can witness live performances and old recordings back-to-back by streaming Lolla2020 live on YouTube

The free Lolla2020 virtual event will last four consecutive nights beginning July 30. Throughout the broadcast, viewers can catch old performances from past Lollapalooza festivals, including headliners from Chance the Rapper, Outkast, and Arcade Fire. Lolla2020 will feature live performances as well, with young artists like H.E.R., Pink Sweat$, and Alison Wonderland taking the virtual stage.

Perry Farrell, founder of Lollapalooza and Jane’s Addiction frontman, will host the event. He’ll share conversations with exciting guest stars like Michelle Obama, LL Cool J, Common, and Chicago Mayor, Lori E. Lightfoot.

Although the event is free to stream, Lolla2020 will act as a fundraiser for several nonprofits. One highlighted organization is Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote, which aims to increase voter registration and election day turnout. Lolla2020 will also support the Equal Justice Initiative, which seeks to end mass incarceration, and the Arts for Illinois Relief Fund, which provides financial support to venues and workers in the creative industries. To donate or learn more about these causes, you can visit the Lollapalooza website.

Lolla2020 broadcasts start at 5 PM CT each night. Be sure to catch this one-of-a-kind event.
