Ryan Destiny’s R&B Single ‘Do You’ Is the Summer Song You Need
The Star actress has just released a song that you can’t miss.
For the fans of Ryan Destiny’s incredible music, the wait is finally over. Last week, the singer announced that she would be dropping her new single, “Do You.” The song was released just in time for the weekend, on July 31st. Set to a smooth R&B beat, “Do You” has Destiny singing about a love gone wrong, where her significant other isn’t taking their relationship seriously. Reaching her breaking point, she wittily assures them that they don’t need to worry: She can act just as shady as them.
“‘Do You’ is what happens when you mix fun with attitude,” Destiny shared with Nylon Magazine. “‘Do you boo!’ is one of my favorite things to say and it’s usually because I have all intentions on doing the same. Focusing on myself will always be a mood and I think we’ve all been in a few situations where you have to remind someone of that.”
The track features accompanying vocals by artist Rook Monroe. It was produced by Trackside, the duo that previously collaborated with Destiny on her single, “The Same.”

Many fans hope that “Do You” is a sign that Destiny’s album is on its way. For the past few years, Destiny has been working in her studio to launch her solo career with her debut EP, On One’s Own. While the project still doesn’t have an official release date, hopefully, the singer will be sharing some good news soon. Until then, fans can jam out to this iconic song all summer long.
