iHeartmedia’s Latest Podcast ‘Why I’m Voting’ Enlists Celebs to Encourage Voter Turnout This Year

As Election Day draws nearer, iHeartMedia is reminding us to make time for the ballot boxes by launching the “Why I’m Voting” campaign, which features celebs using their platforms to promote voter turnout come November. The campaign will be featured on their radio stations as well as in the form of a podcast. iHeartMedia will be using over 800 of its radio broadcast stations to amplify the voices of artists and listeners alike as they share their reasons for voting. The campaign will run from August 10 until Election Day on November 3rd to encourage more people to get involved with politics. It’s a message more pressing than ever this year since, in tandem with the presidential elections, voters will also determine 35 Senate seats and all 435 seats in the House of Representatives.

Numerous celebs have already enlisted their help and will be using their platforms for the cause. Participants include Aaron Mahnke, Adam Lambert, Andra Day, Ashley McBryde, Baratunde Thurston, Benny Blanco, Billie Eilish, Bob Baumhower, Brett Eldredge, Brit Morin, Brothers Osborne, Chelsea Handler, Chuck Bryant, Dan + Shay, Dan Reynolds (Imagine Dragons), Dani Shapiro, Darius Rucker, Day Sulan, Diplo, DJ Khaled, Fall Out Boy, FINNEAS, French Montana, Grouplove, Jason Derulo, Jason Petty, Jewel, John Legend, Justin Tuck, K CAMP, La La Anthony, Leslie Grace, Lori Gottlieb, Luis Fonsi, Melissa Etheridge, Michael Ray, Michelle Williams, Mike Shinoda, Pitbull, Prince Royce, Robert Evans, Sammy Jaye, Saweetie, Selena Gomez, Stephanie Ruhle, Swae Lee, The Head and the Heart, Tom Colicchio, Trevor Daniel, Tyla Yaweh, Will Ferrell, YFN Lucci and others.
