Dua Lipa interviews Gwen Stefani and reaches a wider audience as she co-hosts Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Dua Lipa has returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live! after pranking the late-night host last year. This time around, Lipa co-hosted the late-night show and opened with some fun facts about herself before getting to know some seniors who have no idea who she is.

The Grammy Award-winning artist asked some seniors questions about pop music in general, played some of her music, and asks about her fashion. The group of seniors who were interviewed virtually was told by Lipa that she was surveying without revealing her true identity. After asking the seniors what they thought of pop music, Lipa then plays “Break My Heart” from her Future Nostalgia album and gets the most genuine reactions. Watch below for the full segment, cleverly titled “Who-A-Lipa.”

Lipa goes on to interview Gwen Stefani, who is featured on her Future Nostalgia album. Lipa takes this time to announce the music video for the remix of “Physical” featuring Gwen Stefani will be released on Friday, August 28.

During the interview, Lipa and Stefani discuss Stefani’s experience quarantining on a ranch in Oklahoma. “I grew up in Orange County,” Stefani says, “it’s nothing like the middle of America and our nature was the beach so to be able to be in Oklahoma and be able to experience a ranch kind of vibe is just something I’ve never, ever had so it’s been great and amazing.”

After discussing experiencing a new culture and genre of music, Stefani answers random questions asked by the co-host. Fake name aliases, forgetting lyrics on stage, and mistaken identities are just a few of the questions Lipa asks Stefani, all of which get the musicians to open up and share personal experiences.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! has a week full of guest co-hosts including Sarah Cooper interviewing Ben Stiller and Rob Lowe interviewing Danny DeVito. You can keep up with the late-night show’s guest schedule here.
