Beabadoobee Releases New Song, ‘Sorry’, and Talks About Her Unreleased Album, ‘Fake It Flowers’
On August 5th, the British-Filipino singer, Beabadoobee, released her newest track, “Sorry.”
At only 17 years old, the indie-pop star released her iconic song, “Coffee,” which accumulated nearly 50 million streams on Spotify. Later, in 2020, Beabadoobee collaborated with Powfu on “death bed (coffee for your head),” which gained 600 million streams on Spotify and 158 million views on YouTube. Months later, “death bed (coffee for your head)” is still in the United States Top 30 on Spotify, and fans cannot get enough of Beabadoobee.
On October 16th, 2020, Beabadoobee plans to release her fifth album, Fake It Flowers. The album will include 12 songs, two of which she has already released. Besides “Sorry,” which is the seventh song on Fake It Flowers, Beabadoobee’s first song from Fake It Flowers, “Care,” premiered on July 14th.

Fake It Flowers is expected to be a heartfelt album that addresses many introspective moments from Beabadoobee’s life. The many nostalgic themes in Fake It Flowers will have us reminiscing about our childhood and young adulthood. The album will not feature any collaborations but is expected to contain an all-acoustic version of at least one or more tracks.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Beabadoobee was planning to perform during the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California and go on tour in the United States. However, due to the COVID-19 quarantine, Beabadoobee was inspired to create Fake It Flowers with the help of her partner, Soren Harrison, who is also, incidentally, the artist’s producer. We cannot wait for the upcoming release of Fake It Flowers, but in the meantime, we will continue to listen to Beabadoobee’s other songs, like “If You Want To” and “Dance With Me.”
