“Bad Guy” singer Billie Eilish partnered up with Telekom Electronic Beats to spread technology positivity.

Recently on Aug 12, Billie Eilish and Telekom Electronic Beats had decided to work together to promote technology positivity with the launch of the campaign film “What Do We Do Next”.

Telekom Electronic Beats is an international music program of the lead telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom AG. They focus on electronic music and international club culture and organizes events such as concerts, festivals, and club nights with electronic music artists.

The goal of the campaign What Do We Do Next was to celebrate creativity and changes made by generation Z. Deutsche Telekom had surveyed Gen Z and their interaction with Technology. They had found that sixty-nine percent of European Gen Z believed their use of technology was perceived in a negative light. Telekom had expressed that technology is most commonly viewed as negative due to it wasting too much of people’s time. Telekom argued, however, that the current generation utilizes it well to share knowledge in fighting against prevalent societal issues.

Director Vincent Haycock had mentioned, “We wanted to capture the spirit of this generation and show their collective voice harnessed by their use of social media. They are a generation that uses technology and social media to raise awareness and create communities.”

Eilish had also shared her thoughts, “We all have the potential to make a positive impact on our planet, and I’m hopeful our generation will use their platforms to collaborate and communicate and make a difference.” The campaign consists of Eilish’s soundtrack “When The Party’s Over”, playing in the background as she narrates and appears in the video campaign for Deutsche Telekom.

The technology company noted: “In collaborating with Billie and our team of young people, we are shining a light on the incredible potential of this generation, as they navigate a new future.”

Check out the campaign and encourage technology positivity by spreading more awareness of the #WhatWeDoNext campaign.
