Kate Hudson Revealed Her Steps to a Healthy Lifestyle

During ENEWS Wellness Wednesday series, Kate Hudson revealed her self-care routine and words of wisdom in which she lives.
As of December 2018, Kate became the ambassador of Weight Watchers. Since then Kate has been on the right track of a healthy lifestyle and has been candid on the steps she has taken to achieve it.

Health and wellness is my number one and I always say that what works for me doesn’t work for everyone. I believe that we need to celebrate diversity in how each individual wants to celebrate their bodies. We aren’t all going to enjoy the same work outs, outdoor activities, foods etc. I’ve become an Ambassador for the WW family because it is the perfect community for people to live healthy their own way and I love sharing this knowledge with you all! This is not a community for people who just want to lose weight, although leading a healthy lifestyle lends itself to such, this is a community about supporting each other through a life long journey of wellness. One of Kate’s words of encouragement that she often tells herself when feeling stressed is “Don’t expect yourself to be a super-human! It’s just not possible. Or fun, for that matter!”

In discussing her daily routine, Kate disclosed three vital parts of her day. First, she remains conscious of what she puts into her body. She mentioned the Weight Watchers barcode helps her stay mindful. Next, she attempts to always keep her body moving. Not only by just walking, but dancing to music as a way to keep active. Finally, she “cultivates a positive mindset” by meditating or spending time with loved ones.

Kate also gave us some insight into some of her favorite healthy dishes that keeps her both energized and satisfied. She expressed that she mainly sticks to a plant-based diet, but will occasionally add protein to her meals if needed. Her two favorite summertime dishes include grilled salmon with mango salsa and pan-seared summer squash. Both in which are apart of the Weight Watchers diet plan.

In the same interview, Kate passed along her number one self-care tip. As she explained, becoming apart of a community and relying on those around us for relief in times of need, is her best piece of advice.  She added, that both companies Fabletics and Weight Watchers are wonderful communities who lift and support one another.
