Regina Hall has just been added to the already star-studded Nine Perfect Strangers cast.

Last week it was announced that Hall will star in the highly anticipated new Hulu series Nine Perfect Strangers, which is based on the novel by Liane Moriarty. Moriarty also wrote Big Little Lies, which was also adapted into a Hulu series. The show received a lot of praise and even won both Emmys and Gold Globes. Both novels were featured on the New York Times Best Seller list.

Nine Perfect Strangers focuses on nine people who attend a wellness retreat to help ease the stress that comes with city living, but the retreat turns out to be more difficult than they imagined. Hall will play Carmel, one of the attendees on the path to living a calmer lifestyle.

The series will also feature other big-name actresses like Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman, who is also executive producing the series, and Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy.

Hall is no rookie to the acting scene. She’s been starring in movies and TV shows for over two decades and is most recognized for her roles in Scary Movie, The Hate U Give, Think Like a Man, and the successful comedy Girls Trip.

Fans are anxious to see what Hall will bring to the table in the new Hulu series, and they’ve expressed their excitement on social media after news broke that she would be joining the cast. There is no release date as of yet, but the series is expected to debut sometime in 2021.
