Sophia Bush Endorses Kamala Harris as Vice President to Joe Biden
On Tuesday, Aug. 11, Joe Biden shared his choice for Vice President, and actress, Sophia Bush has spoken about her thoughts on Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris is the current United States Senator from California, where she has been serving since 2017. If Biden and Harris were to win in this upcoming election, Harris would make history. She would not only be the first female vice president, but also the first African American vice president. The pair is winning over influencers and politicians all around the country.
I have the great honor to announce that I’ve picked @KamalaHarris — a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants — as my running mate.

Sophia Bush starred as Brooke Davis on One Tree Hill for nine seasons. Recently, she’s been using her platform on social media to raise awareness of the issues at hand. Over the past few months, she’s been sharing posts and resources for the Black Lives Matter movement, including photos of her at protests. It was no surprise that when Joe Biden announced Kamala Harris as his pick for Vice President, Sophia was one of the first to endorse Harris.
Bush posted a series of photos on Instagram of the two of them meeting and having a conversation while advocating for the non-profit organization, Everytown for Gun Safety, last year in Des Moines, Iowa. Everytown for Gun Saftey is a movement to end gun violence in the United States, with the hope of building safer communities and spreading awareness about gun safety.
In her post, Bush shares all of the reasons she endorses her and thanks her for her morals and beliefs. Bush ends the post by saying “I am grateful for her”.
