Alternative Pop Band LANY Drops New Song ‘you!’
Alternative pop band LANY releases their newest single, “you!”
On August 11th, LANY posted a tease of their new single on their Instagram, and announced that it would be dropped this Friday. “you!” is the first track off of their upcoming album mama’s boy, which is set to be released on October 2nd. This will be the band’s third studio album, following their two Top 40 albums LANY and Malibu Nights.
Aside from “you!” two additional singles from “mama’s boy” have been released recently as well. Tracks titled “good guys” and “if this is the last time” were released earlier this summer. For all three of these new songs, a music video has been released as well. You can watch the video for “you!” below.
This new upbeat song seems to be about finding someone in your life that connects with you endlessly, so much that you can’t really imagine a life without them. The chorus of the single repeats the lyrics, “You, I’m nothing without you.”
LANY was formed in 2014 and has since released numerous popular hits from their EPs and albums, such as ILYSB, pink skies, and Thick And Thin. Members of the band Paul Klein, Jake Goss, and Les Preist put their heart and souls into creating music for their fans, and have been missing playing live for them on tours.
