Women In Film Teams up With The CW in the Fight for Women’s Jobs
The one-hour variety show Women In Film Presents: Make it Work! will be airing on August 26th on CW at 8 pm EST.
The show will also be available through CW’s online platforms so you can see it whenever you have time. This greatly-anticipated event is brought to you by Women in Film.
Women In Film (WIF) is an incredible organization that “advocates for and advances the careers of women…in front or behind the cameras…” as stated on their official website Women In Film.
This star-studded show will take you through the journey of recognizing the issues and finding solutions to getting women back to work. The pandemic has affected countless businesses and the film industry is one of them; this televised show is focusing on making sure women and people of color will be able to go back to work.
Logan Browning (Dear White People), Jennifer Garner (13 going on 30), and Elizabeth Gillies (Dynasty) will be a few of the many amazing and influential women to star in this special show.
The initiative that started this was Hire Her Back, which the WIF launched on June 10.
Women & BIPOC are disproportionately impacted in times of crisis. So we’re launching the Hire Her Back initiative urging employers in the screen industries to strive for equity and representation as the industry starts production again.
