Along with other changes to the most recent season of The Bachelorette, Jojo Fletcher will be hosting for two weeks in place of Chris Harrison.

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, everyone has experienced many changes to their everyday lifestyle. Some of those changes have created a surprising season of The Bachelorette. First, the original Bachelorette, Clare Crawley, was replaced by Tayshia Adams. Now, US Weekly confirms that  Chris Harrison, who has been hosting The Bachelor franchise for 18 years, has taken a mandatory leave of absence. After dropping his son off at Texas Christian University, he has to self-quarantine for two weeks, as a precaution to keep everyone safe during this uncertain time.

Jojo Fletcher first appeared on The Bachelor franchise in season 12 of The Bachelorette in 2016.

The set where they are filming on, La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, has been locked down for the past month, so no one has come or gone. Since there are many safety issues, the cast had a couple of days to adjust before they began filming. They have reduced the size of crew staff working, the cast and crew are wearing masks, and everyone is participating in social distancing to ensure the safety of everyone involved. They want everything to be as effective and efficient as possible.

It’s definitely different from what the viewers are used to but, where Fletcher goes, fun and excitement are sure to follow. This season has definitely come with its fair share of twists and turns but, many people are looking forward to it none the less. Make sure to stay tuned for the latest updates of the new season of The Bachelorette this fall.
