Covid-19 has impacted individuals and families on many different levels and has created drastic changes within many lives. Daily meditation can be a very helpful practice into our routines to combat anxiety, depression, and feelings of overwhelm. Headspace has gone the extra mile for its users by providing more free meditations, helpful blogs, and social media posts, as well as a free year of Headspace Plus for all health care professionals in the U.S. They are also providing free access to educators during this time.

Their new collection, “Weathering The Storm,” is designed to help support users during these uncertain times and is available free to everyone. There are meditations focused on living through unemployment and simply calming down. There are also experiences designed to help you fall asleep and to offer advice through the new challenges that life may have been bringing.  There are even a few at-home workout videos designed to release stress and increase endorphins.

If you could use a reminder to breathe and center yourself and your thoughts, take advantage of resources like Headspace, who are working to provide you with extra accessible support right now. Along with their meditations on their mobile app, you can also check out their website, which is filled with helpful blog posts and resources.
