The singer-songwriter who is famous for his hit songs, “Perfect,” and “Shape of You”, recorded a song when he was just 13 that was never released, entitled “Spinning Man”. After being heartbroken from his first relationship, Sheeran made 20 copies of the demo, 19 of which were in his possession up until recently. In his 2014 autobiography, Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey, he revealed that he didn’t want anyone to hear this demo, let alone own it.

The album contains 14 tracks and as stated by Sheeran in an interview with CNN, they were about, “a girl called Claire. She was my first love when I was 13. It was a very innocent love, and we only ever held hands, but it lasted a fair amount of time. Then came my first devastating break-up. Looking back, it really wasn’t that bad, but at the time it was soul-shattering. When she left me, I wrote a lot of songs off the back of it — my first love songs.”

Some of the songs on the album include “Misery,” “On My Mind,” and “Moody Ballad of Ed.” The album is expected to be sold for $13,108 in the auction. He has won two Grammy awards for his song “Thinking Out Loud,” and a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance for ÷. The singer has three other albums that have done well commercially including X, ÷, No. 6 Collaborations Project, +, as well as numerous EPs.
